****November lockdown update****

Sunday worship: in line with the new rules, Sunday worship will move back to a single live streamed service at 10.30am. This means that both St Peters 9am and St James at 3 services will stop for the next 4 weeks, and we will all meet online at

Church Building: St. Peter’s building will be closed for the 4 weeks of lockdown, though the community centre will still be used by local midwives. St James’ will be open for personal prayer 2-4pm on Tuesday and 11am – 1pm on Saturdays throughout the lockdown. However all other meetings – prayer groups, cell groups, community coffee etc. – will have to stop or move back to a virtual format.

Guidance on the Coronavirus closures from the Diocese of Bath and Wells and from the Church of England can be found here.

St Peter’s has gone online during the lockdown – parish services services are streamed live at 10.30 a.m. every Sunday from our You Tube channel, and there is a regular flow of news, prayer requests and resources to keep us praying and growing together as God’s church.

Please use the resources in the Virtual St Peter’s area of our website, and if you would like join the church email or WhatsApp group, please use our contact form. Both our churches have a Facebook page, which is another great way to stay in touch if you are on Facebook.

If you know someone who would value a friendly phone call, or needs any
help with getting shopping and essentials, please do get in touch using the Contacts page.

Watch this video to find out how we’re tackling this as a church community.

We are learning as we go along how to stay in contact with each other, worship together via the wonders of modern technology, and continue to pray and live as the body of Christ through this testing time. In the meantime, if you have any concerns please ring David (422286) or Ruth (579602). God bless you.
